Most of us who grew up in the 1970s-1990 were told that Kahane was a radical who embodied the antithesis of Jewish values and formed the Jewish Defense League. But was he? He was not only a friend and colleague of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach z"l, but the two Rabbis taught together and hosted conferences together for years. Is there wisdom in Kahane's teachings that are useful for us today? We will study and wrestle with his actual words and explore if we can find the value in them that Reb Shlomo did... or maybe we will find out that he really was a dangerous radical. Let's explore together and find out which is actually true...
