About the Event

Tu B'Shvat, the "New Year of the Trees" is placed in the Talmud with the same importance as Rosh HaShanah. Come celebrate this holiday together as we renew the ancient Kabbalistic custom of a Tu B'Shvat seder of celebrating the "gifts of the trees" by partaking in fruits, nuts, and wine and learning more about ourselves on a deep level through the teachings of nature. The Tu B'Shvat Seder is similar in practice to the Passover Seder, but focuses in content on the meditative and mystical experiences that can be gained through understanding, experiencing, and appreciating God's

gifts through nature. A contemplative evening that uses the gifts of the trees to help us understand ourselves at deeper levels, and teaches us how to blossom in every aspect of our own lives.

In the Talmud, the holiday of Tu B'shvat is placed on the same level of Rosh HaShana. This "New Year of the Trees" is especially important to the Kabbalists of our tradition, who would hold a Tu B’Shvat Seder, including special foods and wine.
