Monday, July 11th, 2022 @ 7:00pm

Rabbi Elijah Schochet will be speaking on anti-Semitism at Temple Ner Simcha on Monday, July 11 at 7:00pm.  Author and scholar, Rabbi Schochet is considered one of the leading Rabbis in our nation, of whom it has been said that “only pearls flow from his mouth”.

The author of seven books on Jewish thought and the lives of great Jewish figures, including “Amalek: The Enemy Within,” and “The Hasidic Movement and the Gaon of Vilna”, Rabbi Schochet served as the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Kodesh, later renamed as Shomrei Torah, from 1960-1999. He has directly influenced countless Rabbinic students (including Rabbi Barclay) through his having been a Professor of Rabbinical Literature at American Jewish University for more than 40 years and at the Academy for Jewish Religion-California since its founding in 2000. The founder of Kadima Day School, Rabbi Schochet has dedicated his life to educating people in the richness and depths of Judaism; and this is a rare opportunity to learn with one of the greatest Rabbis of the last 60 years.

Come join the Temple Ner Simcha community in this special talk with Rabbi Schochet on Monday, July 11 at 7:00pm in our TNS Sanctuary at 910 Hampshire Rd., Suite I in Westlake Village (in the back of the Watercourt Complex) for this very special evening of studying with one of the great minds and souls of our time.
